Hello! Yes I'm still alive and kicking. It's been awhile, I know everytime I update I say I'm going to start updating more then I never do. LoL, I mean to but ... I just have to accept the fact that I'm terrible at doing regular updates. As always I have tons of things on the mind to update about but I just cant sit down long enough to do so. I've decided that one thing I want to start doing is video (vlogging) as soon as I get things set up where I can do such ... yeah so don't look for that to happen in the near future, but look for it in the future, LoL.
I think when I start doing that I may get my own website again, Dvonte use to tell me that I needed to start my own webshow ... I've been thinking about doing that. I think it'll be fun.
Of course this month has been VERY difficult. D'Vonte's bday was March 6. He should have turned 17 this year. Its still hard to believe he's not here .... it's been 9 months and still seems like yesterday. We went various times this month looking at headstones and we finally placed an order last week. I'm not sure how long it's going to take, I just know the guy said he would tell them to try to get it here as soon as they could. I just want it in place by June 20th.
Finally got my washer installed, LoL That thing had been in the garage for over 3 years needing to have the old one taken out and the new one put in but I was to lazy to move all the stuff that needed to be moved to get it in. But I had to because ... FINALLY I'm also getting new stove and fridge. Actually the fridge is in, got it delivered last week. The stove should be here by the end of the week, finally I will be able to use the oven again!
I still have the back half of the kitchen to finish cleaning, that is going to be a pain in the butt. Basically my old computer is back there, and my printers ... so there are TONS of papers and cd and more papers and crap that I have to go through. Eventually I will move the computer out of there. I haven't used it in about two or three years so I think it still works, lol. No seriously I know it works I've had to use it to print but it's not hooked up the the internet so I haven't used it for much. I need to clean it and have more memory installed, and a wireless card installed, I'll probably just get an adapter. But that thing is like 7 to 10 years old so it will just be my back up pc.
Bathroom is cleaned, just need to wash curtains (eventually I'm going to make some new curtains when ever I get my craft room set up and get my sewing machine set up in there) and clean off the counter. Next to tackle ... I'm not sure what room to do next. Maybe my bedroom.
I know I should be able to have one major yard sell this spring!!!
Ok well for now I'm going to skitdadole on up outta herrre. Till next time ...

A little quickie ...
I know I'm way over due for a new post. I just wanted to say I'm alive and kicken. I will do another post soon, I be meaning to post but then when I come here to update, I'm like what should I write about. But when I'm not close to my computer I have all kinds of ideas of what to say, lol. Anyhoo, I know I still have a couple post to write about of somethings that's been on my mind, and I will be posting some pics of some projects I've been working on. oh and I will have a couple point & shoot cameras I'm going to be selling and a couple cell phones ... I just need to get photos taken of them. So be on the look out for some updates!

Christmas was ....
Well under the circumstances, the day was the best it could be. I didn't go to the family dinner, My mom cooked and we stayed at their house. I don't think I could of taken watching all the little kids opening their gifts etc. I would like to have seen the family but I know I would of been no fun.
De came down later and we spent the evening together.
Parents and De' spoiled me this year and I know they were trying to make the day not be so down for me. Well my dad gave me my gift(s) (he let me use his cc for online shopping and gave me money) back at Thanksgiving so I could shop black friday and get the deals. So I got a Big Shot, the small Cricut, and the Cinch. And other craft stuff, and the Polaroid PoGo Printer, oh and some Bath n Body :) gotta have smell goods! LoL
De order the Slice for me, it was delivered to my house Thursday. He brought the rest of my gifts to me Christmas night. He got me a Tower Stereo for my Iphone/Ipod. I so wanted one!! I was looking at little ones that would sit on my desk. (I still think in the future I'll get a little one, but thats another story) Anyhoo, he also got me a gift card for AppleBees .. YUM! LoL
And he got me pink snuggie, and gave me money.
So now I got almost all the machines I wanted. I still want a Gypsy and the DreamKuts machine. But I still have no dies, or carts for the machines I got, lol. I started to not get them all and get just the bigshot and cricut and then get dies and carts. but then at the price that the machines were on sale for I couldn't let that pass. I'll have to slowly add carts and dies when I can find them on sale again.
Whew now if I can just get my office/craft room together. Soooo much to do ...
Well hopefully soon after the new year I can have it all done. or at least most ...
Well for now that's about all I've got to say ... I'll return soon LoL, hopefully ... ya'll know I'm horrible at updating.

Christmas Eve ...
Wow ... I truly can't believe we are here already. This year has absolutely flown past. And I can say for once I'm truly ready to leave this year behind and start a new one. So much has gone on in 2010. So much that I would have never guessed was going to happen that soon.
I know I still owe that post to a few people about how I feel that God prepared me for the lost of D'Vonte'. I will do that post in the future, it's one that is going to be long and somewhat difficult to write.
I know of quite a few changes I'm going to make in 2011. I've been holding myself back for far to long, and it's time to move forward. Hmmm, well I was just thinking outloud there ... or should I say think typing?? LoL, anyhoo more on that in the future.
For now this was just a quick little post to say I'm doing ok.
I'll be posting some pics of some projects I've been working on soon.

Quick update
Ive decided to keep just two blogs, my photography blog and this one. This one will consist of my crafting adventures and stuff that will be for sale through Jazzie Styles, and my personal life adventures (those that know me know I only post limited personal stuff online, but I want to keep everyone updated on how I'm doing and how I'm getting by since D'vonte's passing). I'm horrible at keeping blogs updated so to make things easier I will just combine those two and keep my photography blog separate.
Right now this poor little blog is lonely ... ha, nobody knows about it ... guess I should start telling ya'll about where I'm at.
Now my plain is two have simply-valerie.com & jazzie-syles.com linked to this page. I think I still own both of those domains, lol. I need to check I know it's probably about renewal time, I'll have to check on that soon. Hopefully I'll be able too renew both. on the other hand Ive been thinking i may let simply-valerie.com go ... decisions decisions ....

Told ya'll I'm horrible at keeping a blog up to date, LoL.
But also I've been thinking about moving my blog to my own personal space, I just don't trust these free spots. They close up to often.
But anyway ... I've been working on another post too, I promised a few people I would write about how I feel that God prepared me to be the woman I am today, and to be able to handle loosing D'Vonte. Sooo be on the look out for that post.
I've been a bit busy lately. I decided I'm kind of redoing pretty much my whole house. I feel I need a new start. I had planned to redo areas of it anyway to use for taking photos inside, but since D'vonte passed I decided I'm going to do more.
I'm excited but broken hearted at the same time. It's so weird to look into his room and see it cleared out.
Anyway my plans .... well his bedroom I'm going to use for a office / craft room. He was and always will be my inspiration, so his room was the best place for that to continue and me to feel him still pushing me to do my best. He would probably frown on the colors I picked for it to be, LoL I'm not telling, stay tuned for the after pics and or video.
For the small room that was his bedroom when he was younger I'm going to use it for a guest bedroom / store my shoes etc room, lol. I'm going to paint that room ... well I'm not sure yet. I'm thinking a nice bright warm yellow of some sort. but I've changed my mind about 5 times already in the past month soooo, I'll be making my final decision on that room in the next few weeks.
The living room is going to be fairly cleared out of furniture so I can use it to take pics in. I'm going to paint it a cream or a nice goldish tan color.
Those of you who know me well know I have a fetish for leopard print, so that is going to be all over my house, LoL. Y'all remember my red saturn coupe? Yeah ... it was leopard pimped out .... LMAO
So anyhoo, yeah that's whats keeping me busy for the next couple months.
